How Often To Use Nip And Fab Glycolic Fix
Lately I've been dealing with a flare-up of acne. How fun! I was looking online for a good nighttime pad that can help reduce acne. There's so many! However, I always came back to the Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Pads Extreme – I had to try them. Was it worth it? Did they help my acne and clean up my skin? Check out my review below!
What are the Extreme Night Pads by Nip and Fab?
Nip and Fab's Extreme Night pads are basically that – they're pre-soaked pads that you use before bed. I've actually never used a nighttime face pad before, which is insane when you think about all the skincare products I have now. However, a nighttime face pad is an extremely easy and effective way to look after your skin before you sleep. There's no excuses!
These cleansing pads are listed as "super-strength" but even for my sensitive skin, it didn't bother me. They work to exfoliate skin and clear our dead skin from the surface along with a handful of other benefits.
Ideally these Extreme Night Pads are for oily skin types, as these pads target congested skin or acne prone skin. However, you could still use these for combination skin as well (like me). I wouldn't recommend them for dry skin as it will most likely dry your skin out even more and cause irritation.
These night time pads:
- Exfoliates the skin
- Removes dead skin
- Unclogs pores
- Reduces blackheads
- Minimizes pores and acne scarring
- Adds hydration, leaving skin feeling soft
- Minimizes skin discolouration, such as pigmentation issues
The main ingredients in these pads are five prominent acids: glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid and hyaluronic acid. These particular night pads have the highest level of glycolic acid (5%) than other Nip + Fab products.
A lot of acne-fighting night time pads primarily rely on salicylic acid. While this ingredient is included in the Nip and Fab Fix Pads, they still also use a variety of other helpful ingredients as well.
So you're not solely relying on salicylic acid for results.
If you have oily or combination skin, you could easily use these pads 2-3 times a week. If your skin is a bit more sensitive, I'd scale that down to about once a week. Once your skin gets under control after a few weeks, you might be able to scale back your use of these pads to one a week, even if you have oily skin. It really depends on what your skin is like and how much excess oil you're dealing with.
One of the best things about the company Nip + Fab is that their products are extremely affordable (for the most part). Now that I've tried them, I can also say that their face pads are effective, too.

What are the Nip and Fab night pads like?
When I first opened the container, I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely they smell. You'd think such an "extreme" skincare product made with some seriously tough ingredients would smell fairly chemically. But these pads smell fantastic – the best fragrance out of all my other skin care products. Almost good enough to eat! (please don't eat these).
One pad is more than enough in terms of "wetness" to cover your entire face. I especially focused on the most oily sections on my skin, my T-zone (chin, nose and chin). But there was still plenty of product left to wipe across the rest of the face.
The pads have small padded bumps on them as well.
I tried a different acne night pad before (just once) and it completely angered my skin. My face went red, dry and irritated right away. I didn't experience any of that with these pads. They're wet, obviously, but the product soaks into your skin fairly quickly.
Normally I would want to apply a moisturizer afterwards but didn't need to with these pads. My skin wasn't tight or dried out after using them. So once I use the nighttime Nip and Fab pads, I let it dry onto my skin and then head to bed. That's it! I make sure to wash and moisturize my skin in the morning, but don't need to moisturize at night.
After using them about two nights a week for about two weeks, I can already see a big difference. The texture of my skin is much more even and my breakouts are very minimal. I still get the odd pimple or spot (probably from eating too much junk food) but otherwise my skin is bright and clear. These pads really do exfoliate your skin, minimize breakouts, clear your pores and give you wonderful skin. Thank goodness!
What's in Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Pads Extreme?
The Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Pads Extreme ingredients include: Water, Glycolic Acid, Triethanolamine, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Mandelic Acid, Panthenol, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Limonene, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Benzoate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citral, Linalool.
As mentioned above, the main ingredients are the acids: glycolic, salicylic, lactic and hyaluronic. These work together to cleanse, exfoliate, clean and hydrate the skin.
What do these night face pads feel like?
I bought the container with 60 pads. All of them are soaked with the ingredients, so you don't need to worry about any dry pads.
It's best to wash your face before using them, so you can get the most out of the ingredients. I just use warm water on my skin and then dry it with a towel – nothing fancy. But if you have a simple face wash, that would be useful, too. Then I wipe one face pad around my entire face (obviously avoiding my eyes). And that's it!
I've been using these about twice a week, and they're perfect for evenings when I'm really tired. My daily Korean skin care routine is four different steps and products. Some nights, I really can't be bothered. On those nights, I like to use these Glycolic Night Pads since they're so easy, quick and still effective.
After use, they leave my skin feeling clean and even.

Final verdict on Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Pads Extreme
After using these nighttimes pads for a few weeks, I genuinely really enjoy them. They couldn't be more simple to use, but they're still affordable and effective. My skin has been more even, bright and clear since using these pads. Overall, I really love this product and will definitely re-buy!
